Kids summer shooting camps?

[surfinguru]

Hey guys, looking for a shooting centric summer camp for our 10 year old son this year. Anyone have any suggestions?

But not all BSA camps have shooting ranges. You might have to look around and talk to some local troops to find out what camps they use and if they have ranges or not.

Look for a local Quail Unlimited group and ask if they have a summer camp program. Our local QU group has a summer camp that they send youth to. From what I understand the kids get a lot of shooting in as well as most if not all of their hunter safety class.

FWIW, I was a cub/webelo/boy scout for many years in NYC, and never once touched anything with a trigger.
