I placed an order a few years back at the beginning of the week because I needed the item before the following weekend. I even payed for overnight shipping even though it was coming to the SFV (just over the hill).

When Thursday came around and still nothing had shipped I made an inquiry as to my order status. They said it as on backorder. Even though it was listed as in stock. So I figured find I still want it, but I will not get the item when I really want it. I requested at that time that my shipping be changed to regular ground shipping. No reason to pay for overnight shipping now. Well they screwed that up and sent it overnight five weeks later.

I just figured I would rather spend my money else where that to gamble on that again.

yeah they are 50/50 they dont know what they have in stock. even when you go there in person. you call ahead they just say yeah. you get there then they go look for it and maybe yes maybe no...

Avoid them!! Customer service sucks! Excuses only...placed order for in stock item and week and a half later no signs of it. I called and they told me it was backordered for 15-20 days. I just went ahead and cancelled the order. I was willing to give them a chance because of the prices but I rather pay more to get better service. Not even a notice that it was backordered.

I ordered several products from them... when the box arrived, there was no box of lithium batteries. I called and they told me that it was in the box and that was that. The Peltor shooting muffs in the same shipment fell apart within weeks and Botach refused to take them back or replace.

Their is a thread started on snipershide.com, by the new manager of botach, says he is trying to change things there. Thread started in Nov, if I remember correctly. If you shop out of state, you wont have to pay sales tax, so that might help.

If you can pick it up, go for it.

If not, call call call. Call them to verify it's in stock. Say you wanna make a large order, but have heard so many horror stories, etc.

When you pay, call in 2 days and asked if it's shipped yet. Keep calling.

I had problems, but still got mine within a week and a half. For $90 in savings, I'd say it's worth it.

dude its 2011 not 1987. you may have noticed you dont have to put the handset on the modem and your computer acually has more than 1KB of ram. its just storage space it the only things it doing is getting cheaper.
