Hey all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, so if its not I apologize in advance.

Heres the deal... I need to make a fairly sizable order of Magpul Accessories for my AR, and Botach Tactical has the 20% savings on all Magpul products when you use their promotional code, which will save me almost $90.00 but Im really wondering if I should order from them after some of the horror stories ive been reading around the net...

anyone have any experience with them or know if its safe to order from them? There are over 200 complaints about them with the BBB.

Rolling dice . . . better results if you can go there and pick things up. For a large, multi-item order, I would not do it. YMMV

Yeah, im starting to find that out...my over was just over $400 before the 20% code use saving me almost $90....thats the part that hurts the most about all this, by them not being good to their customers...

I have ordered from them 4 times in the last 5 months and got my order within 2 days. I keep hearing these bad things but I havn't had a bad time with them. Just got a box today. They even emailed me to tell me one item was not available in my selected color and gave me other choices. I can't complain. i really like their KZ product line too.

I just ordered a Safariland drop leg holster from them. Just like OpticsPlanet they didn't notify me that the holster I wanted wasn't in stock. What irritates me is if they don't have items in stock why are they taking orders and not notifying people about wait times? Once it was instock though they shipped it pretty damn fast. So fast that it came 5 days sooner than the expected delivery date.

I would send an email or call to see if the items you want are in stock first.

They ran out of something and called me to change the order to a different color. I have also heard lots of bad stuff about them, but besides their crappy stock system being tied into their crappy website, they aren't that bad. I would take your list and call them to check stock before placing the online order. And if they will accept the code over the phone, do it that way instead of ordering online.

Botach has been fine with me on three orders. Once when I placed an order, they called right away to let me know the item was back-ordered and asked if I wanted to wait the three weeks or cancel the order.

OP just order your Magpul goodies from Golden State Tactical, Exile Machine or Midwest PX.

To be fair, I think Botach went from an F rating by the BBB bureau to a C in the last few years. I think the last time I looked, they were no longer rated.

So I think they have improved but not sure they deserve my business when there are so many high quality businesses selling these products. Chris mentions as few above.

The biggest complaint is stuff showing in stock but is actually backordered. If you need it right away, don't order from them. If you want the savings and don't mind the waiting, give them a try. If it takes too long just cancel the order and get it from somewhere else.
