Well Ryan, if I wasn't leaving on vacation Friday I would try to do a personal intervention where we met at an 01FFL and you sell me all your guns for a dollar. Since that isn't possible I recommend buying a bigger safe.

Dude, you're asking the wrong people....

I'll take those excess guns off your hands though, you know, remove the temptation...

I think everyone here is a gun crack addict. I've only been on cal guns for a moth an did 11 transfers. That's not including my new gun purchases. BUT... IF you really want to stop do what i did.....

Go out to a open range and bring ALL YOUR GUNS and i mean ALL OF THEM. I'm guessing you have more then 10 as you are an addict like me. And put at least a hundred rounds of cheap reloads, the dirtiest shooting bullets you can find. It won't take that long and it'll be fun, let lose go gun crazy!!! THEN......

Take ALL YOUR GUNS HOME AND START CLEANING THEM!!! I MEAN REALLY CLEANING THEM.

I did this and no longer want to purchase any new guns. Took me nearly a full day 24hrs to clean all my guns. Wasted a whole day was tired as $H!T. Now i'm happy with my gun collection and most likely will not add on more unless i get them for really cheap. BTW i cleaned about 30+ guns that day.

              Shoot?

Shoot guns? Hmmmmm, never thought of that, novel concept. Let me mull that over. Uh, sounds like work. Maybe next year.

That doesn't quite do the job. I took two handguns to the range to have twice the fun and ended up spending twice the time cleaning them. Now it's one trip one gun.

                Best!

All I have to say, if we don't have the 1 new pistol per month, I would be in big trouble.

No, I have the gun-crack addict problem......I NEED soooo many new guns, but have NO money!! With 2 out of my 3 kids playing sports year 'round (soccer and baseball), boy scouts and a monster of a mortgage payment....oof. When we pay our bills, if there's a dollar left over we have to re-due the bills 'cause someone didn't get payed.

There is no such thing as guns you do not need on this forum.

                            You are not alone Brother.

I've gone a year and two months without buying a gun. It's hasn't been easy. I have unreasonable credit card balances that WILL be paid off before I buy again.

Well, I have bought some ammo, but less than $500 in the last year. And lately I've found a weakness for buying old, used reloading manuals online and also for small lots of deprimed and cleaned brass of calibers that I do not yet own but certainly shall someday and will eventually be getting into reloading.

But no guns for a year and two months.

I'm not addicted, really I'm not. Really.

I haven't met a gun that I don't love instantly and spend 10 or 15 seconds figuring out how I can buy it today before I remember my vow and turn away.

It helps me to keep the credit card locked up in the safe. If you're out of control you may need to cut up your cards.

You can always post online and find many sympathetic ears.

I have to snort at least two grams of gun powder a day just to get by!
