If you got arrested, surely the state preemption would be a slam dunk acquittal? No?
Cities and counties in Oregon are allowed by state law to regulate two aspects of firearms: discharging a firearm, and possession of loaded firearms in public places. However, counties are specifically barred from outlawing people from discharging firearms on their own property, and concealed weapon permit holders are exempted from any local bans on loaded open carry.

    Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

It would be really cool if we got that here.

State preemption on everything except that and CCW is shall-issue with holders being exempt from LOC bans.

Sounds like something CA might go for since they'll never give us CCW and LOC.

They can't arrest one for the loaded weapon like Milsurp Collector described. But they can arrest for "disturbing peace".
