    Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

Taking a client out to lunch/dinner, sending them a gift basket under $100 or giving them tickets to a ball game is schmoozing. Paying off a credit card 4 times for a total $19,200 is bribery. There is a HUGE difference. Maybe if he took the client out to dinner 15,000 times, he'd be okay.

Well it was sort of mentioned. If the official(s) was taking payoffs from JD, he was likely taking payoffs from others as well.
