As awesome as Hickock is, I think he'd make a terrible TV personality.

Ultimately, to make it on the show, you had to be good at 3 things.

• You had to be a great shot
• You had to be a good interview (interviewee?)
• You had to pass extensive background investigations, and psych exams.

At the final tryouts where they brought their 50 casting finalists they told us: "If you're the best shooter here, it doesn't neccessarily mean that you're in. If you're the worst shooter here, it doesn't neccessarily mean that you're out."

I wasn't a member of calguns til just now Kyle, Maggie and I are all about 15 minutes away from each other and were quite surprised at how close we lived to each other when we met on the show. We've shot together a few times after we completed filming the show. Spent some time at the Shot Show in Vegas. Jamie is on duty, will be back in a few months.

You have the mental advantage...there is no shooting exercise that is harder than a correct swing when driving. Plus they're expected to beat you...you're like Kelly from Season 1
