Interesting how the various shooters held the 1911. If I didn't know any better I would have thought they were not very experienced handgun shooters however several of them were designated handgun experts. The way the teams were selected it looks like it will be the old guys verse the young guys.

I look forward to future espisodes.

So my wife is talking smack, and I'm reminding her that it's a Civil War era rifle, first and only shot for anyone, no clue where the sights are zeroed at.

Depends on the distance. It's like what?... 2 and half inch diameter?

They normally shoot at 25 FEET. Shouldn't be a problem for "world class" shooters. Even 25 YARDS wouldn't be.

A small story, I've made friend with this guy at my range, been watching him shooting his .270 bolt action rifle for close to 2 years. He's a very good shot with his gun. He's also a VERY nice and friendly guy. We've been running into each other off and on and chit chatted everytime . Last week he saw that I was shooting my 1911. He was liking my NHC GRP so I invited him to shoot. I loaded 5 rounds in the mag and gave it to him. I watched him through the spotter scope and saw that he was putting the 5 rounds into a 3 holes pattern at the target at 25 yards within 3/4" of each other. He's never shot a 1911 before.

Like I said, if these contestants are "world class", the pool ball should be no problem for them.

The next episode the mentioned that the contestants will be shooting paintballs at each other during competition. THAT should be interesting.

Had a hard time seeing my man Chris T in the elimination round, but he dodged that bullet. Still got a Ten spot says Chris is Top Shot any takers or is wagering against the rules!
