I've got an FFL here in Phoenix

He wants to do some research on the laws here as I only got a chance to go thru some of the biggies (ie, Kasler list, feature ban, etc.). Any way, I told him there might me a market for him to ship guns to have it comply with CA LAW and then ship it to CA. In other words, you ship your gun to him, he puts the compliance parts on, or takes them off (PG on AK) and gets your gun to you in CA, or, just order them from him being CA compliant.

Any of you interested in this? I told him to check here and see what the climate was like for something like this.

I'm trying to do my part in getting you guys the good stuff in CA from where I am in the FREE states, and if this interests you, please post a critique, good or bad. And I just picked up my Keltec P3AT from him today that I got from DDS Ranch. Thanks for great service Dean.

Have a great gun carryin' Kenpo day

    He can be helpful.

He may be useful in doing DA->SA conversions for non-Rostered revolvers

Seriously, with all of the less expensive, good condition, used revolvers out there that we can not get in any way shape or form, I would think it would be an easy "spare time" line for him.

Welcome to Calguns Jeff, thanks for taking the time, I know how limited it is. I'm just trying to do my part outside for those still in the PRK, and enlisting others to help. It's not like I can take an active role in the politics there now but I can do something.

Some of the legal restrictions on handguns only apply to SA guns. If you can find an FFL to modify a banned DA gun into its legal SA version, and send you the gun with parts separate, you can legally modify the gun back to DA state.

Or so I understand it. This is more of Bill Wiese's doing. If this be FUD, bring it on!

man o' man you guys sure have it rough, i've been reading up on the ATF State Laws and Puplished Ordinance-Firearms 2005-26th edition manual california code is 67 pages of laws and regs. and to boot all the counties have their own laws and regs. i'd be better off trying to build a space rocket with under the sink ingrediants than trying to understand all those laws and regs. man its gonna be tough to help you guys out, i gotta make sure that i have every angle covered if i plan on being in buisness for any lenght of time.

whats with the bullet button for an AR15 all about???
