The link above has SHOT Show comments from ToddG of pistol-training.com. The Glock floor plates with glass breaker accessory crack me up.

The swag this year sucked. Pretty much nothing, except for Glock keychains.

If you are a flashlight guy like me, the hit of the show was Inforce. Best lights I have come across. I dropped my surefire and now have one of their 300 lumen carbon fiber lights w/ strobe as my EDC.

We are going to be stocking their full line.

Interesting. Those are the same guys behind the Inova consumer flashlights that are pretty good.

Is there a saiga 22lr there?

Saw some pics of the Radom stuff from Poland pretty impressed. Especially the stanag adapter that looks like it will work for 223 saigas without mods.

that the presence of some of us 03FFLs at SHOT do make a positve impact, but do acknowledge that other 03FFLs might not be.

Hell, a LARGE part of the industry doesn't have a FFL of any kind. Many exhibitors don't have any type of FFL yet, we are still "in the industry". Besides, SHOT is not just about the firearms industry. You've been there, you know that. Also, 03FFLs are a driving force in the industry. Without 03s, many 11s won't have a large market to sell to. Some 03s spend more on firearms every year than some 01s make in a year. There are those who have an 03 just to buy a few $49 Mosins and then there are 03s who buy C&R FA beltfeds and other C&R NFA items.

This is my third show I've attended. Maybe the novelty is wearing off but I didn't see anything too crazy that I can't live without. Still fun to attend though. There was a definite lack of good schwag. I probably only spent about four hours each day at the show. I ran into some of my pals from Henderson Defense/Lock and Load Tactical at the show. They're a very CA friendly FFL that are always glad to import OLL's. The SCAR extended rails from PWS look promising. I stopped by the 10-8 Performance booth. Hilton Yam had one of their demo guns that showcases a lot of the 1911 parts they make.

The one thing I did see that caught my eye was the new civilian legal Laser Devices DBAL. I have no use for an IR designator but I know that thing will sell quite well for them. The few DBAL's available for private sale usually run abobut $2500+

Under $1k for this one: http://www.austereprovisions.com/Pro...-DBALI2-CIVGIR
