They've been out a while in basic form and more recently enhanced. Are you talking about the 7.62x51 Magpul variant?

The new news is, there is no new news.

Like all previous years we have an ambitious release schedule for 2011. However this will be the first year we will not announce it prior to the items shipping.

Announcing a slew of new products at SHOT show is fun but it actually adds delays in the product release cycle. A lot of time in 2010 was spent setting up new production processes to deliver products to the consumer quicker than ever. Planning all our product releases around a single domestic trade show is counter productive.

We will continue to exhibit at SHOT show to maintain relationships but it will not be the cornerstone of our future product releases.

Looks like too much hype and minimal delivery has hit them.

I was actually curious about the Remington version of the gun. But more info on the 7.62 would have been nice too *_*

Please read response on hkpro.com. The HK416 lower has full auto components and is available to SOT (Special Occupational Tax) Dealers regulated under the 1934 National Firearms Act (1934), which was amended in 1968.
