Building a Nighthawk Custom Pistol, registering HELP

I want to build a nighthawk custom gun http://www.nighthawktactical.com/GRP_Recon.html I know its not on the roster. Is it possible to buy a frame from let's say brownell and have them mail it to a shop with an FFL and purchase a frame that way along with registering it?

I know you can do the single shot route and get it registered but how about just the frame?

For all practical purposes, the answer is no.

The usual way to get a bare frame is to buy one via PPT. I listed mine for sale here last year and someone bought it almost immediately!

BTW the Nighthawk GRP Recon model is on the roster

If that model is close enough to what you want, maybe you could buy one and send it back to Nighthawk for any additional tweaks?
