Should I really be using gun socks?

I use Bore-Stores mainly to prevent dings and scratches, both in the safe and for transporting multiple guns in a hard case. As for rust I'm not sure, however I've used them for about 8 years now and have never had any rust problems.

I'm very pleased with them considering how affordable they are, especially relative to the price of a gun. They've been really helpful keeping my guns looking new, anyone who's ever traded or bought a gun from me can probably attest to that, heck- I probably even threw the Bore-Store in with the trade/sale .
