      I'm biased because I own a Saiga-12, so keep the Saiga-12!

I don't own a Saiga but own the Moss 500. So my vote is Moss 500. At least I have more flexibility with accesory and parts. Not knocking the Saiga. Just my humble opinion.
Would be nice if Moss would make a 18" barrel with a fixed IC choke though. That would make for a nice home defense barrel.

I'd have to say the 500. You can change out the barrel and have a bird gun, the pump action has been around for what, 130 years? Any gunsmith will work on one if it needs it. You don't need a tool to load the 500 either. It really is a more practical all around gun than the S-12. It doesn't have quite as much "cool" factor, but IMHO if I had to only keep one it would be the Mossy.

              Mossberg 500 home defender.
Cheap to feed HD comes first.

They shoot the same rounds, y'know... :P

I'd vote Saiga. Larger capacity, quicker followup shots.

Comparing a pump to a semi-auto isn't really fair to the semi auto. Is it?

The Mossberg has a very long and proven track record.

Saigas are not know for ultimate reliability. They are still a fun nitch gun but, not as reliable as a decent pump will be.

Sell them both and buy a Mossberg 930 SPX or Breacher
You don't have to worry about buying those expensive Saiga magazines.
The 930 is a pretty damn good shotgun. Its what I use for HD now. I heard Turners had them on sale too.

Keep both, though if one has to go sell the Saiga. Fun as the Saiga is the Mossberg is a bit more practical.

If I had to keep only one, I'd probably keep the Mossberg. Less things to go wrong, you can change out the barrel to make it into a bird gun or clay pigeon gun.

Saiga 12. You will always be able to get a Mossberg 500

Well see thats the thing. I thought about it quite a bit. I bought the saiga shot it and was sort of disappointed. Then i threw some wood furniture on it thinking its gonna make it feel better which it did but I just never got behind the gun ? I like the idea of a semi auto shotgun but with the mag lock to me its a PITA to reload so I ended up buying/trading to get some more Saiga factory mags.
Im still just not behind the gun.

The mossberg is sort of my ol reliable. i have a OU that i use for hunting birds so its not even really a hunting shotgun but I guess it can be in a pinch. Its been reliable and never even a hiccup out of it.

Either way looks like i may be selling the saiga. I always told myself if I dont shoot it I dont wanna keep it. Looked at the vote poll and jeez what a 50 50 split
