As long as you believe you'll never drop the bike, go for it.
The way some gunshop clerks spout off, you'd think that they invented gunpowder and the repeating rifle, and sat on the Supreme Court as well.

Based on where the pipe is, I think the pistol would be ok.

looks cool... but i'd rather carry on my person; too much crap, oil, road crud, rocks flying and road vibration alongside the saddle holster imo.

Looks like a very nice custom bike to me.
the owner probably just tucks it in his belt when away from the bike.

What's up with the sheriff parked in the handicap zone?

in terms of safety... the position of the gun leaves the owner vulnerable to having his/her handgun taken when he/she is not in a position to struggle successfully with an attacker; sitting at a red light could be the owner's undoing.

in terms of my own preference, i wouldn't want to broadcast that i was carrying a gun... unless laws dictated i had to.

During warmer months in Tucson area I usually OC a LOADED-ONE-IN-THE-CHAMBER RIA 1911 or a P220 when I ride the GW. It's simply amazing how much extra room I'm given by motorists in heavy traffic.

You don't suppose it's because of the handgun.....

he is not parked in the handicap zone, just in the NO parking area.
same problem just a different law getting broken.
