    What a Maroon!

Hey, if it wasn't for stupid people, we would have no way to know how smart we are.

Gun owners are a minority there probably, just like here. The majority of the voting public could care less about restrictions on guns or encourage it.

That, and they don't have Calguns...

There should be a new rule for calguns. Before you post a question, look in the mirror and ask it to yourself. If you end up looking at the youre staring at with a funny look and walk away speachless, dont post it.

I'm assuming that from the comments coming from the man in W.M about the legality of H.P ammo, he uses FMJ rounds in his defense weapons if he believes H.P rounds to be illegal in that roll.

Wouldn't want to be his neighbor if he ever had to use that gun/ammo in a defense roll. Id probably be filling holes in my walls. H.P ammo is all i will ever use in a self defense roll.

                  Is this the guy?

                  Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

That's about the dumbest thing I ever heard. Walmart isn't exactly where you find our state's best and brightest though.

Do you really believe for a second that a walmart employee has any grasp of the law?

Seriously, just think about that for a second.

Now that you've realized you shouldn't rely on the person for the time of day, just ignore any and everything they say in the future.

ETA: Ok, I re-read it and saw that you meant there was another customer bothering you about this nonsense. The same applies, take a look at the average people in a walmart, I wouldn't trust them to properly operate a toaster let alone want their legal advice

In the future you may simply want to respond to these idiots with "Well I'm not shooting at the intruder because I want to show my affection." and then let their brain implode as they try to process it.

I remember in the 5th grade the guys and I discussed this very issue, one of the guys dad told him hollow points are illegal and that ended further discussion on the subject. Oh the m60 uses 60 cal. Ammo.

Walmart customer - that's an even worse source of FUD than a standard gunshop FUD-tardo.

The only audible sounds I think I'd pay any heed to in a Walmart is 'Watch out he has a gun' and 'I can take the next customer at register x'. The rest of what you can possibly hear at Walmart will probably reduce your IQ a few points.

Is there any type of ammo that is illegal to use for personal defense in California?
