wow.......way too funny to not share! thanks

Most civilization is based on cowardice. It's so easy to civilize by teaching cowardice. You water down the standards which would lead to bravery. You restrain the will. You regulate the appetites. You fence in the horizons. You make a law for every movement. You deny the existence of chaos. You teach even the children to breathe slowly. You tame.

What is fascinating was just how damn dirty those early atomic weapons were. What is even more so is that we could build them to burn very clean, but the mil decided that the fall-out component was actually part of the threat profile for such devices. However the dirty component really was important in the early devices. The actual initial detonation thermal load and kinetic load wasn't really all that.
A 15KT blast really isn't that impressive, even less so the .01KT or so blast of the man portable version of that cannon. Plenty of military targets could withstand them. They were most effective vs infantry and mechanized units though less so with mechanized. I always loved the idea of a man portable recoiless rifle that fired Atomic rounds.Last edited by meaty-btz; 12-06-2010, 1:27 PM....but their exists also in the human heart a depraved taste for equality, which impels the weak to attempt to lower the powerful to their own level, and reduces men to prefer equality in slavery to inequality with freedom.Comment

They got their ban, because their voters are the type of trilling limpwrists one sees portrayed in movies as stereotypes…only in Californica they're not stereotypes, they're typical. It must suck to be a real man on the Left Coast.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

True. Very true."The pump action shotgun is sort of a Swiss Army gun." He's correct. You can hunt birds, squirrels, deer, criminals or terrorists.

I find his ideas fascinating and would like to subscribe to his newsletterGLOCKs came originally in 9mm, and have also been made in various numbers in 10mm, .40S&W, .380, 9X21mm, .357 Sig and .45 GAP. However, the only acceptable caliber for a man to carry is .45 ACP. 10mm is good but hard to find ... If Viking king Harald Hardraada were alive today, his symbol of power would be a GLOCK 21.
