When I used to got the range I brought ear protection/ eye protection, the gun and ammo.

Honestly if a gun breaks I just pack up and go home. I'm not in combat so if something breaks I'm fine with leaving and coming back another day.

I've seen guys pull up at Angeles and back their truck up and unload what seems like an entire warehouse of stuff..

Question is what are your range neccessities(sp)?
Didn't you see him go to his mobile armory with emergency resupply LZ in the parking lot?

With so many noobs going to the range now, a bullet proof vest.

I have never gone to an official shooting range. I just go out into the desert and shoot.

So my range gear consists of guns, ammo, targets, and a bottle of water.

              Simplicity.

Work tools (as they are already in the truck), ammo, cleaning gear, food. Just what ever fits in the bed of my truck.

I like Blackjack's list. Today I just brought my:

                  Pistol in it's case
                  500 rounds of 9mm
                  Gloves
                  Zombie Targets

I have a Midway bag with most of my range gear:
                    -Stapler and staples
                    -Targets
                    -Mag loaders
-Tools - enough to handle range emergencies
                    -Cleaning kit
                    -Eye/Ear protection
-Other misc stuff - glove, slip on recoil pads, etc.
I don't change this out depending on what I bring to the range, it's all there, all the time.

Plus I have a plastic storage box that I use for my spotting scope, brass catcher, binocs, and gun rest.

I usually put handguns in the Midway bag and rifles in rifle cases. I typically bring about 4 guns to the range. Ammo is in a separate ammo can (one of those Cabelas ones).

Recently I got one of those folding hand carts from Costco to carry it all, so now it only takes one trip from the car versus 2-3.
