How stout is the frame?
I guarantee it will take spatter from the targets and the frame will take direct hits as well from our less than accurate friends.

Its pretty solid. My next one is going to be if thicker round stock. Im trying to figure out how to make it more portable. Any suggestions

I'm wondering if there would be a ricochet problem because of the uneven target surface.

Well it swings pretty freely

If it swings freely, then it better have some weight on it to reset faster after you hit it. Otherwise, you're going to be waiting while the target keeps on swinging back & forth before it comes to a stop, so no rapid firing. But then by adding weight for a faster reset, the target itself becomes more bulky & heavier to carry around.
