The non-lead .22LR ammo does exist, but it's useless for hunting. It's entirely inaccurate beyond 50 ft.

Put plainly, it's an end run around the 2A by removing ammunition. One step at a time.
The "bullets" demonstrated by the commission that made the study were in fact sliding egg sinkers - I saw them myself. The commission voted against the lead ban based on facts, but an agenda is an agenda and the legislation forged ahead in spite of the commissions findings.
Sort of like the Louisiana oil spill and the prohibition of drilling thereafter going against the study with falsifications of documents and an agenda.
Vote in November and let's get rid of these agenda driven, Constitution hating socialists.Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.Comment

The whole argument is based on faulty information politically motivated by anti hunting/anti gun groups. The scientific data to date does not warrant the action taken, nor will it ever. It is amazing to me what I see and hear coming out of management at DFG and the National Forest service.
I had a whole rant about lack of access to the forest in D11. I am so upset by those running and deciding where we may use the roads in our forests, I have written letters to my representatives both federally and at the state level, to N.F. service, and included the DFG just for good measure.
I don't know which dept makes which choices, but I am disgusted. The constant political gerrymandering, which only hurts the public who simply want to use and access these lands is beyond frustrating and wrong. Which includes some of our game laws."If Congress can do whatever in their discretion can be done by money, and will promote the General Welfare, the Government is no longer a limited one, possessing enumerated powers, but an indefinite one, subject to particular exceptions."

What's more funny, is the same eco-eediots tried to ban lead bullets in all of California, but the F&G commision said no.......there wasn't enough proof it was harmful.
This is the same commision that approved the original ban.....based on lies and twisted correlation as proof they were harmful.
I'm gonna dig a moat around my house and secede from the state."A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......CiceroComment

Yep... I tried a couple of boxes of the stuff, tin .22 LR.... inaccurate is putting it mildly. The stuff just plain sucks. .17HMR and .22WMR on the other hand seem to do just fine, with the .17 being the best of breed.Comment
