Couldn't really figure out a place for this so hopefully it's ok here......
Went by to see Joe at Parallax Tactical on Wednesday to ask them about an issue where my bolt would not stay back on my AR with my Pmags. Joe and I spent some time chatting about what it might be and since there was a few possible causes, he offered to check out my AR if I brought it in.
So today, I brought my AR in and spent a good hour at the store talking to Joe and Tommy about various things. Joe would be checking out my gun and then call on Tommy to come change something. Then I'd find some other goodie I "needed" and he'd bring that back to Tommy for him to install.
Joe is very knowledgeable about all things guns and Tommy's gunsmithing talents were obvious by his quick and efficient installation of the various items I added or removed from my AR which he did for free.
I did not catch the name of the young lady out front but she kept busy juggling phone calls and paperwork - handing them off to Joe as needed.
All in all, it was easily the best experience I've had in a store- any store- in a long time.
