Why do people think it would damage your gun? Ammo jamming is more about the gas system and the chamber. I bet Wolf would never jam in an AR with the gas system turned off. Granted most people run carbine systems so wolf can be a problem under heavy fire (60-90 round strings). I wouldnt bring wolf ammo to a fire fight.Comment

steel is harder than brass so when the bullet is fired the steel doesnt expand as much and the steel does something to the chamber i dont know something in those lines. all i know is that brass is softer than steel and the expansion of the brass when fired creates a better seal and steel doesnt and sometimes messes up the gun. Im currently building an AR right now so i just want to get some input on steel cased ammo before i go off and buy ammo when i build my AR-15Comment

true but the steel is also thinner then the brass....steel is harder than brass so when the bullet is fired the steel doesnt expand as much and the steel does something to the chamber i dont know something in those lines. all i know is that brass is softer than steel and the expansion of the brass when fired creates a better seal and steel doesnt and sometimes messes up the gun. case in point i won't shoot steel case in my stag ar anymore because the casings break off at the rim part way causing a failure to eject, this is why i shoot brass.
500rd case of wolf out of 100rds 25 case breaks,1 dead primer,20 feed problems..
500rd case of lake city brass reloads 250 rds in zero problems &hitting targets @275yds consistently... i paid 129 for 500rds from miwal at the gunshow...going to get more this weekendComment

Yeah ive gotten ammo from Miwal at their annual fathers day sale. got 1500 rounds of .40 reloads for less than 300 out the door. they had the same deals with .223/5.56 cant wait for the gun show in a few months back in sac. gonna have alot of money saved up by then to blow it all on ammo =)Comment
