WHICH WOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Im trying to decide which gun to buy next. my budget is around $650 max.

I really want either a 40 s&w or 45acp.

the two guns ive been eyeballing are:

RIA 1911-45acp

or

Glock 23-40 cal

which would you choose of the two or is there something better for that price range...?

2 totally different guns for different purposes. Do you really want a 1911 or do you really want a Glock? Get which ever one you like better, which ever one feels better in your hands, which ever one shoots better (if you can rent a G23 and 1911), and get which ever one will work better for what intend ot use it for (range use, HD, carry, etc).


Since you brought up a G23 but also wanted a .45, what's wrong with a .45 Glock ? G21(SF) or G30(SF)

Its hard to say which purpose ill be using the gun for because every gun i own is for HD and i use them for range use too. I do plan on applying for a ccw here in the near future and would think the glock 23 would be a nice reliable gun to trust my life with, but then again i love the beauty and power of the 45acp 1911 tactical and it would be a great range gun. its just i want both but cant have two at the same time...itll have to be another year before my next purchase. so im trying to decide which i want to get first unless someone brings up another gun i havent looked at yet with a better track record for that price range.
