It is possible that if you were carrying, you may have had to shoot that man.
There is no telling how a drunk/crazy will react to having a gun pointed at them. He could have very easily forced you into a shooting scenario.

Im happy to hear your wife didnt have to shoot him. But you are right. When i get a handgun ill have it on me 24/7. I do own a long gun, but i dont think i want to be carrying that thing around. By the way, this incident happened in a RV resort. It is gated and there is usually a good crowd on the river and lake. Not that many folks live here fulltime. Maybe 15 or so people. This just happened to be a cabin owner who comes here maybe for a week or so a year. So we never even met him or seen him around.Comment
