I have a LH AR only 'cause I can. I also have a RH. I grew up shooting RH rifles left-handed and find true lefty rifles a little cumbersome just 'cause I'm so used to RH rifles. Still, I buy LH rifles when available just 'cause...

Because of my neck I cannot shoot on the right side. The other advantage of left side ejection, your brass hits the guy throwing brass at you

The internet is like a 12 step group. Take what you need and leave the rest.

My wife has an AR and she's a leftie. I installed an ambi safety lever for her, which she likes, but is really just added comfort and not indispensible.

EDIT: Can you change the bolt on the MSAR STG to make it lefty like the AUG1?

WTB: French & Finnish firearms. WTS: raw honey, tumbled .45 ACP brass, stupid cat.

The triangular hump in front of the forward assist on A2 type uppers IS the brass deflector for lefties. No need to add another.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself...A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

I would never buy a LH upper. I have several RH uppers and I'd rather be used to using them just in case I ever need to pick up someone else's rifle and use it in a hurry.
