    Internal Lasers for Shotguns

I am not really big on "tacti-cooling" out my guns. But I wouldn't mind having a laser/flashlight on a pistol griped shotgun. I realize that Lasermax makes one that attaches to the side of your shotgun. And you can always put rails and add lights, lasers, scopes, etc. (what ever you crazy kids wanna do to your tacti-cool guns). What I don't understand is why doesn't anyone make an internal laser like Lasermax makes for Glocks.

Rails and lasers hanging off your gun might snag or give you trouble some times. Do any company make a laser that replaces the magazine cap? I think that would be a perfect place to put a laser or a flash light, and to be completely honest I wouldn't mind sacrificing a round for that. Are there any companies out there that make this? What do you guys think?

Mossberg made a 500 and/or a 590 with a factory laser installed in the pump handle. I don't remember it having a lot of or any external wiring but I could be wrong. I never looked at one close.

Lasers seem superfluous on a shotgun, but I gotta agree, replacing the mag tube cap would be an awesome place for one.

That seems like it would be a helluva an idea. How would one activate it though? Pressure switch on the outside of the cap somewhere near the laser?

Yeah, it just seems like such an obvious place to put a laser/light I don't understand why no one has done it yet - it seems so simple as well. Perhaps we should contact LaserMax, I doubt an idea this simple has surpassed them though.

Yes, it be a simple push button, you could wind it, so many possibilities. LaserMax has already done this with Glock and other pistols, this seems so much simpler. Let's just not limit the idea to a laser though, it wouldn't be hard to fit a flash light in there at all. For example - look at the picture above - the light can obviously fit in the tube, the laser could too (not at the same time of course). Thinking about it, I doubt we would even have to sacrifice a round.

              Way too expensive.

You could just get this instead.

I mean... It won't look as "smooth" but it will look even scarier I think.
