    Handgun safety test

Im looking to buy my first handgun soon. But I need to take the safety test. Is there someplace online that I can pay and take it? Or do I have to go into a dealer to take the test? Links......Thanks

Dealer. They should have the material right there for you to take the test.

I just took the test on Sat. Didn't even crack open the book as it were and got a 100% It's basic common sense. But I wish you luck in what ever manor you choose to prepare. I will add there was a fella who failed it miserably at the same time I got mine I hope to god he never gets a gun... how could you fail??

Test is easy if you read the study book a few times. Common sense stuff mostly. Then when you pick out a handgun you want to buy theres a demonstration test that you have to go through with the salesperson. They will first show you what they want you to do so just follow along with what they say and do and you'll be fine.
Good luck and welcome to the community.

My wife studied for 5 minutes on the computer, drove a half hour, took the test and passed. Missed one.

Tell me about it I only got it because my father-in-law loaned me his .357 for a range trip with my wife. I got it to protect his butt in case I got caught. But I'm now legal for this craptastic state.
