Their unofficial policy as it stands with CA is:

Semi auto = NO FREAKING WAY
Bolt/Lever/Black Powder = Sure, we'll take your money.

Add Pump Shotguns with barrels under 24-26" = No Freaking Way

I was actually refering to Aycarumba who suggested causing them monitary harm .....

I'm not the one who is causing them monetary harm... I'm trying to point out that they could make more money selling to one of the largest gun markets in the country.

by the way... CDNN has this policy because they are afraid of the California DOJ or some Ca lawyer going after them for selling a gun to someone who ends up robbing a liquor store or killing someone in California... call them and ask them why they have this policy if anyone doubts that.

CDNN dropped CA from their handgun market sometime in 2002. For a while they complied with CA approved list, they had a little "CA OK" icon in the ads for the approved handguns, then decided it was not worth their while to put up with CA BS. I am not sure at which point they stopped shipping semi-autos here.
They would gladly sell you a sporting shotgun or a bolt rifle, and when I say gladly, I really mean it: they have a bunch of really nice sales people working there. Buy your "tactical" stuff someplace else, you are not going to get it from CDNN.

Now that the "PROTECTION OF LAWFUL COMMERCE IN ARMS ACT S.397" has been signed, they should reconsider changing their policy. Although CA has the worst gun laws, it's still one of the biggest gun markets in the country and possibly the world. Ask yourself, how much money each of you is spending on guns and ammo every year? How does that compare to how much an average person from the rest of the country spends on guns & ammo?
