Do you live in California? If so, they won't sell any of those to you.

That SUCKS! Stupid policy. I'll never buy anything from them again. If they don't want to deal with us Californians, why should we deal with them. Look at how much business they're losing for not selling guns to Cali

Hmm. I got one of those Winchester Model 70 Coyotes from them not more than two months ago.

I don't see any where in their policy stating that they won't sell & ship guns to California, except high capacity magazines:

I just say that everyone on this board should call in an order for a Ca approved handgun w/ Cdnn just because... clog up their phone lines with a couple thousand dollars "they could have" made.

I already tried a few months back when I wanted a Hipower... it's noted in their catalog.

Not that I don't believe you but I still can't find anywhere in their latest catalog that they do not ship guns (that are legal in California) to California. Maybe you might want to give it a try again

Try and order one! They wouldn't sell me a Sig and a SU-16.

OR.... you could just be civil and get your guns from somewhere else... It does not make sense to me to make such a big stink about what I see as a decent policy... from a buisness standpoint. They do business all over the world. it does not make sense that they should have someone whose job is to make sure that whatever gun you are ordering is on the CA approved list. I am sure that they more than make up for the lost sales in CA with what they do sell in the rest of the world. It may be a bummer for us, but that is no reason to try to mess up what business they do have. Just don't look at the handgun page. Just because they won't sell you the Sigg you have always wanted, does not mean you should not pick up a screaming deal on other stuff. If they refused to sell to you as an individual, or took your money and would not ship you the gun, then by all means, jam up their order line till it is resolved. You now know their policy, and should think about that before you open the catalog. I have had customers have similar reactions when I tell them I will not install the parts they supplied. It was posted on the wall of my shop, but still they were upset.

How much more civil could I be when I said I will not deal with them since they do not want to deal with people from CA? Is it uncivilized to think that they have a stupid policy? I am not trying the mess up the business that they have, I just simply stating that won't deal with them.

Their unofficial policy as it stands with CA is:

Semi auto = NO FREAKING WAY
Bolt/Lever/Black Powder = Sure, we'll take your money.

They had Weatherby Accumark seconds a few years ago that they had no problem of shipping to a CA FFL. They also had AR 15 A1 uppers a few years ago too (super cheap), that they would ship to ca. They also had Ruger turn ins a couple of years ago that they would ship to CA FFL. I guess they changed their policy.
