I really never understood open carrying an unloaded firearm. I know before people have said, "oh for my protection! I refuse to be a victem!" But seriously? Its unloaded. We are men, do we really need a false security blanket to make ourselves feel adequate because we are afraid of confrontation? Its not like its going to go down like, "oh hold on mr bad guy as I load my unloaded firearm."
Also with a firearm already exposed, you already escalated the problem to the next step. Just my two cents.
I was always taught that the firearm is the last resort and not a tool or substitute for a pair. Even back in the day my dad taught me growing up that I should handle my problems like a man and those little punk kids up the block to pack are cowards for relying on firearms. Not saying you guys are cowards or lack a pair but this is just a honest opinion from a gun owner with a different point of view as you.

It may be funny on tape, but clearly the cops are trying for the ignorance immunity available only to cops, when they not only deny reading their department's training memos, they say they were told to do the the exact opposite and violate civil rights up the yin-yang. Probably trying for a career in politics, where acting like an idiot will get you off of just about any crime you commit.
