            learn how to properly use your Iron sights. At rifle qual each year every marine shoots out to 500 yards with Irons. It can be done, just get a standard carrying handle/rear sight setup, google some info and go from there, it's not that hard.

                When putting optics on a rifle, the general rule of thumb is to buy the cheapest rifle that will shoot as good as you want it to and buy the best optics you can afford. A $500 scope is not a high end scope. Why not spend $1000-$2500 and get good scope instead?
