I broke my 870

So I field stripped my 870 today and popped out the trigger assembly to clean it/lube it a bit. I didn't take anything apart but while I was holding it, I pulled the trigger (which scared the **** out of me). I cleaned the rest of it and put it back together, but now the trigger won't pull. The safety is OFF and everything else functions properly...but uh, the trigger doesn't move. WTF could I have done? I've cleaned my 870 multiple times and never had a problem

Did you try cocking the hammer agian, before assembling it?

I just compared it to a brand new trigger group I got yesterday, everything looks good as far as I can see. Is the trigger moving the sear at all? Anything? Only thing I can think of is that the hammer falls forward and will shove on the disconnector pretty hard, so make sure the disconnector assembly isn't out of place somehow.

Maybe it somehow bound up on its pivot in there? This sounds like a strange problem. Hope you can fix it soon.

J lock is a "safety" feature in the cross bolt safety where you can use a J-shaped "key" to lock the gun.
