Just get a normal buffer tube. Might as well do it the right way. Just dont put a stock on it and you are good.

Bullet button laws apply to centerfire rifles. This isn't a rifle. It's a long gun.

They are not iffy. Almost all pistol builds have buffer tubes and they are all deemed handguns. Since there has never been a stock on it, Ca. can not argue that it is a "rifle" since, by California's definition of "rifle", it must be intended to be fired from the shoulder. Without a stock on it, it clearly is not intended to be fired from the shoulder.

This isnt a pistol, its a title 1 long arm. I do see the argument for the rifle without a stock....but there is no constructive posession for AWs.

In the 1st pic in the OP, the mag release/bb looks like the hole is deeper and that the surface doesnt have the....ridges or whatever in them. I guess it could go either way with the pic quality lol
