You do DROS the gun but it's included in the transfer fee... so for example, Straightline Tactical charges you $50, that's actually $25 for the DROS and $25 for the store's profit. OC Indoor charges $25 for the DROS and $50 for profit, etc. You still come out cheaper in many cases than if you were to buy the gun from a local store.

I learned a lot. Thank you very much.

Only two pages of guns available to us. Saddening.

I recently ordered two long guns from Bud's - great experience as others have said, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

I had them sent to OC Indoor Range, and since I was transferring two guns I saved a little on the transfer costs.

Edit: I think it was $125 total, two $50 fees, plus one $25 DROS fee.

You may be able to use that with your SO to justify buying guns in bulk.

You couldn't put both long guns on one DROS and save $25?

Man...you Socal calgunners are so fortunate to have FFL's that'll do transfer at such competitive pricing.

A small handful of Norcal (SF Bay Area) FFLs are min $50 for the store + $25 DROS = $75 total (which isn't really all that bad since the store should make some money). Most other places are astronomical @ $100 or more BEFORE the $25 DROS.

Just bought from them last week. Item shipped on Monday. It was at the FFL on Wednesday afternoon and I just did the DROS this morning. The local guy was $35 + $25 DROS fee. He was on the list of FFls from Bud's. Also, through GE Credit with Buds you can get 0% interest for 6 or 12 months. Very high marks for Buds!

I've bought two handguns from them in the past. Very smooth transactions.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

The guy I went to only charged $35 (DROS included), but he was running a special that month. When I called around in SD, the prices ranged from $50-100.

I was at Ammo Bros on Tuesday and it was $75 to receive and DROS.
