I was told it was the SA professional, made without the full length guide rail, so they can rack on a fixed object if necessary. Thats all I have heard. I thought they used the 40sw since it was pretty much developed for them.Originally posted by bohokioh man i think i threw up in my mouth a littleOriginally posted by Soldier415My staff is now at 10 beers, and has a tactical red lgt ont it, and is being ttached to me by a single point sling

I was shooting with a FBI dude a couple years ago, he said the issued a G19/23 and a sig 229. The agent had a choise between 40 or 9mm based on their comfort level. That was awhile ago so who knows now, I mean it's not their money anyway. There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

I have a who is a special agent. he got out of quantico recently. he was issued a Glock 22. He has a different glock now. still .40 cal but i'm not sure what model. you know they fly armed? Its a little weird going to the airport. They go into a special door, meet the pilot, find out who else is carrying etc..Last edited by SanPedroShooter; 05-17-2010, 7:56 PM.Comment

They have to fill out an insane amount of paperwork to do so as well from what I understand. The ones I know won't step foot in an airport unless they have to fly.I have a who is a special agent. he got out of quantico recently. he was issued a Glock 22. Nice thanks alot for the info, I own a p226 in 9mm but been thinking about something in .40 s&w that lives up to the expectations of a service pistol.
That being said, I'd assume these departments/agencies don't go with the 1911 for standard issue due to the increased price?
I've still got my eyes on a para 1911 chambered in .40SW.Comment
