Wow, you are one patient person! The OP wants his work done in a timely fashion. I'm sure he was willing to wait, but come on!!! Threading one millimeter a day would have got it done a long time ago!!! Not acceptable!

Like I said if he is pressed for time he should find another shop. I'm not saying that the delay may not be considered unreasonable by some, but the fact that he has waited 9 months already leads me to believe he was'nt pressed for time either. Instead of venting on the forum he should have asked for his barrel back 3-4 months ago. Or vent away but get your stuff back and get it done, then vent about how long it sat at shop X and the great and wonderful service w/fast turn around time you got at shop Z and give 'em a plug. As long as you let the part sit in the shop your accepting the delay. Just my opinion Ed

      Fair enough!

Dude, we're talking about threading a barrel, not high-end finish work.

Barrel threading is not a long term project, it's a job.

Since September for AR work!? Uh, get your gun back. I don't care who the "smith" is. That's fargan ridiculous. Hopefully they haven't lost your rifle since then.
