    ONE RIFLE

    So here's the what if:

All hell is breaking loose and you have about 10 sec to make a decision on the rifle that will be the most reliable and save your life. What rifle do you trust. You can never go back and only have resources to pick just one.

Bolt action savage 110. About as basic as it gets. Probably the least amount of moving parts. Also being a bolt action it will make you think before just blasting rounds downrange.

        T-bolt .22

Most accurate rifle I have, and grabbing a couple thousand rounds is easy and quick. The added benefit of quiet shooting is welcome in a multiple bad guy situation.

The traitor is the plague."......Cicero

RAW AR. It's what I have the most experience with and I could carry a decent amount of ammo compared to my 7.62 rifles.

For long term survival I would take my Ruger 10/22. It would be great for taking down rabbits, squirrel, etc. You can also hold a brick of 550 rounds in your pocket.

If I knew I would have to defend my self on a daily basis I would grap my AK.

Unfortunately, I don't have something suitable at the moment.

I would want something probably bolt action - maybe lever action, or SA if it's simple/reliable enough. Would need an 18-22'' barrel. Good iron sights. A solid lever action .30-30 might work, or one of the .45 Colt or .44Mag lever guns. Something like the .308 marlin would be awesome, but the ammo isn't that common.

Wouldn't want/need something that can stretch out to 300-500 yards. If target's that far away, I'm either going to Evade if it's a defensive situation - or i'm going to get in closer if it's a hunting situation.

The other option would be a bolt action .308 or .30-06. I think I would opt for the lever gun though.
