I swear, I've had this dream forever and until you started this thread I never really acknowledged it......Whoa!!!!! freaky!

I want to get rid of it!

That is real interesting considering those aliens where modeled after a phallus. Apparently the whole alien story is about an inner fear (of men) of penis and homophobia (hence the female hero).

Wow, now I know what those weird tooth (teeth?) dreams are about. I have those a few times a month and always brush my teeth really well right after those dreams. Weird. I just thought it was because I've always been paranoid about my teeth.

I always have dreams where everyhing works fine except for the bullets. The guy never goes down. I hit em between the eyes after realizing there's no effect but still nothing happens. I wake up with a cold sweat and frustrated as hell.

my guns work in most of my dreams. cant ever really remember them not working often.

it usaully involves me and my friends rescuing family from the zombie invasion. And the occasional hostile invasion.

My gun always works fine in my dreams and the bad guys go down. No sweat. I wake up feeling good. Been that way for over 30 years now; I remember the first one. It was a doozy and I woke up surprised I hadn't been hit.

I hate those dreams where you are about to get into a fight and you take that first HUGE swing and smack the wife or dog in your sleep...

Or the ones where you take a step down a stair and fall forever...

For years my guns (or knives) never worked in dreams. Sometimes they just wouldn't fire or I couldn't find any ammo for them. I even had one where the ammo came apart in the magazine and I was trying to figure out how to stuff the powder and bullets back in on the fly.

Then my dreams evolved in to my gun functioning but the bad guy not dying. I even had a dream where I cut the bad guy's head off and he still kept coming.

Lately I've been having reoccuring zombie dreams. They're actually kind of fun cause in them my gun works and they die. I had one the other night that was just too funny.

So I'm the last normal person alive. I'm trying to only move in daylight to avoid the zombies. All I have is a pistol and a couple mags of ammo. I'm thinking that I need to get something better. Crap! No internet, how to find a gun store? Hmmm...I find a phone book, and look up the closest gun store. Fortunately GPS is still working cause the satillites are still up there. I get to the gun store and there's an open sign in the window. I take caution approaching and feel the door knob. Unlocked. Cool, I don't have to try to break in. I enter the building and there's a guy behind the counter. Natually I'm thinking he's a zombie and he has a pistol on his hip. Dang! Forgot to draw my gun before I entered. Could I out draw a potential zombie? The guy speaks and I realize he's normal.

I pick out a nice collection of rifles, shot guns, pistols, and ammo. He tells my my total is going to be around $6000. I tell him he has to be kidding, money is worthless. He stands firm so I ask if he takes plastic. Sure, no problem. Because power is out he swipes my card with one of those old fashioned carbon copy machines. I'm restocked and ready to leave when he tells me I can come back in ten days. I ask him what he's taliking about and he reminds me that there's a ten day wait in CA. I tell him that there's no one alive in Sacremento to process the paperwork, no electricity to fax, and no mail men to do snail mail. He says to me "you don't know that." In past dreams cause my gun will sometimes fail I decide not to try to out draw him and just leave.

You too, huh? One night I hit the pillow next to me so hard it woke my wife up and scared her. In my dream it was the heel of my palm to his nose, and that's what the pillow got.
