Like somebody said, it's funny to see a used Glock going for $550-$600 with nothing extra thrown in with it. Same with other guns. Sure if you buy new you pay taxes, but that's maybe $50-$70 over the price of what you would pay for a used one with a few hundred (or thousand) rounds through it.

      I'm beyond broke.

Bank called about "re-appraising" my house. It's on the 2nd, Home Equity Loan So Spring Cleaning is a big deal for the next two weeks.

      Getting ready for the "re-appraisal".

Luckily I didn't borrow allot on the house.

Unluckily the Bank can under-appraise and demand a payment of $30,000-$50,000 to bring the loan inline with their under-appraisal.

So I'm balancing the at home time with cleaning and (scotch, tequila, rum) medicating so that I can sleep some of the night.

The good news is the kids are healthy. My Matra is "Just keep Swimming, just keep Swimming" (upstream)
Spreading the WORD according to COLT. and Smith, Wesson, Ruger, HK, Sig, High Standard, Browning

I'm broke. We took a pay cut, lost one day a week (we now work 4 days instead of 5).

Still trying to adjust to the loss of income without getting myself into credit card debt.

All of my gun purchases lately have been the long-term variety: order a custom 1911 that takes over a year to have built, buy some NFA stamps and wait for the whole process to work itself out, etc. I've been pretty good about impulse gun buying in recent memory.

Took a major pay hit when I got fired back in November.I have a job currently that pays about half what I was making, and that job ends in Sept or so. With that in mind, I'm not going on any major buying sprees on here (especially with the folks that think something must automatically be a collectible because THEY owned it. There are some seriously out-of-control prices being posted lately!!!) unless or until I get a decent-paying regular job.

Not broke, actually much better off than 2 years ago. Stuff in the classifieds can be stupidly over priced. Right now concentrating on shooting and enjoying what I already have in the safe.

The economy will get worse still. Expect gas to hit at least $5.00 a gallon by summer. If they decide to stop off-shore drilling all together, you could see $10.00 a gallon. From what I see around me, it's not any better at all.
