Paint it pink with Hello Kitty stickers. Family friendly now?

Haha that would be great. I'd love to hear what they have to say to that.

Funny, you think they would want as many polite shooters there as possible. I endured this sort of treatment at a range around where I live, I will not be going back there anytime soon.

Reminds me of the La Puente Firing Range in the 626 area. If you have a handgun or a 10/22, you're ok. But they also won't allow any anti-"assault weapon look-a-likes" either (no GSG, no M&P 15-22, etc.... a few threads on them as well). It's too bad because they're only 5 min from my place, and their range is really long and has over 20 lanes available.

I always see shady guys at the range I go to. Of course it is In-sight in Artesia. Not so family friendly.

About a year ago I had a Thompson kit on my 10/22 and they refused to let me shoot it. It's a pretty good indoor range with great hours but not allowing legal firearms just ticks me off.

Sound like managment personal preference and since they pay the bills they get to make the rules but that does not mean you can't make your displeasure felt by not supporting it. I doubt they want a money losing business. My daughter takes her post qualifications down there but she won't go there for practice. Are they going to get upset if I walk in with a friends 50 cal. desert eagle and start blasting away? It is a hand gun but nastier than most assault rifles. Fortunately I live out east of Mather and can just go over to the range behind Mather where the people are friendly to just about anything you can haul in there except full size cannons. They are fast and friendly and when you pay to use the range (15.00) it is for as long as you want all day long.
