    I used to do this, till I realized a little bit of rattle didn't bother me all that much, nor did it have any effect on my shooting.

          Serious match AR15 target shooters will actually do a bedding job on there rifles with a special bedding compound for zero play. I have heard David Tubb does it. Only needed in extreame competition shooting where championships are on the line..
