What should I buy next?

So I've got about $500 now that i can spend on guns...problem is, I don't know what to buy!!! my list of wants is really long, and the number of guns that fit in that price range is more than a handful.....but here's what I'm thinking:

-either a .38sp or .357 revolver...(leaning more to the .357 so i can shoot both, but still not decided...)

-a Bersa Thunder .380

-a PRK friendly AK-47

-a PRK friendly SKS

-a Walther P22

-or some kind of rifle in .17hmr

It would be nice if i could do more than one too....like a Bersa and an AK or SKS, but I'd have to research prices and see if anyone is selling online in the Sacramento area.

Anyways, if it were you, what would you go with??


EDIT: What I've got so far is: Mossberg 500 12ga, Mosin Nagant 91/30 7.62x54r, Mossberg 702 plinkster .22lr, Phoenix Arms HP22 .22lr, Hi-Point C9 9mm, Taurus Millennium Pro PT145 .45acp, Kel-Tec SU-16 5.56

So I've got a few of the bases covered (HD, CCW, ZD, Plinkers, etc.) and i think most of the choices would compliment my collection and fill any other gaps...i just need to figure out which to get first.

I had to go with the .17 hmr, mostly because I've been on the edge of buying one.
I've shot them and they're loads of fun.
(The AK is my #2 choice, followed by the .357)

Go for an AK. Either 7.62x39 or 5.45x39.

If you're interested in a Saiga .223 (with pistol grip and solar tactical lock) I believe Bullseye in San Rafael is having a sale on the 24th.

Probably worth a phone call (if you're cool with .223 vs 7.62x39)

I know I'd not go for the P22 (it is a sorry excuse of a firearm; I've owned one).
AK weapons in CA is just plain useless, so I won't go for that if I have no plans to leave CA.
The Bersa has only maybe 1 use: CCW; but it is way heavy and shoots tiny rounds and low capacity. Unless you can only afford it and need to carry it, I'd avoid it too.

it depends on what you have and what you are most likely to actually use. If you already have all the stuff you need (home defense, zombie defense, elephant zombie defense, CCW, UOC, long range, service rifles, belt fed, .50 or larger handgun, girl's guns, girl's plinker, girl's service rifle....) then you should get something fun just to have laying around.


*I think you will be totaly unimpressed with the CALIFORNIA walther p22, put it WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY at the bottom of the want-list

357 is a good choice.
Taurus Tracker 4in less than 500$ and you get all your moneys worth IMO

A used .357 that way you will have a .38 sp.

If i could find a used 357 and a used Bersa Thunder....I wouldn't have to wonder what to buy, nor would i care if i went over the $500 mark a little

if you are considering a bersa .380 perhaps you might also want to look at an older sig P230. i have a w german P230 i am happy with. it is a highly sought after handgun and arguably the one that others are measured by for quality. the bersa of course is a "best buy" .380 and you can't really go wrong with one. good luck with expanding your collection and happy shooting....
