Has the CA DOJ always required PPT for long guns go through a FFL or was there a time when these transfers did not have to go trhrough a dealer? When did they require long gun PPT go through an FFL?

Had this discussion with Bweise a long long time ago. IIRC there was the provision for PISTOLS to go FLL route about 1990. IIRC the requiremnt for long guns began Circa 1993 or so................... but again I could be wrong....lovely how the memory fades on horrific things.....I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered....

1.)All humanity would be better off if Stoooopid hurt.
2.)Why is it that if guns are sooooo unsafe that you're 9 times more likely to die at the hands of your doctor?
3.)Remember...Buy it cheap & stack it deep
