I haven,t been here very long but I,m glad I found Calguns and every time I,m at the range or gun store or even Walmart buying ammo if I have a conversation with someone I usually suggest Calguns. Reason fellow gun owners unite, Redhemi

they are the people who sign up to sell/buy something in the Ads, then when they dont like your price/offer, they never come back.

            atleast thats my experience.

Probably they do the samething I did. They know about the site but only visit it every now & then, but will post when they need to ask a question or comment on something. Otherwise, I'm sure there's even more people who haven't signed up on CalGuns and just come here every now & then to view the site and not post (which is what I did for years).

Hell, I never knew about Calguns until I saw Nate's video on Open Carry in CA. I said "Wait, there's a forum for JUST California gun owners? This has to be a trap..." Turns out, it's not.

And yeah, active members == people who post. Nonactive members == people who don't post or haven't gone through all the steps of authentication yet (verifying account via e-mail, etc.).

Some people came for the OLL. Some stayed and some went.

Maybe post a thread asking gun store owners here if they are willing to commit to the cause. That might work.

Yeah, but we weren't talking about cards on the counter. That easily gets overlooked. We're talking about cards put into every purchase like the way the NRA does it. So along with the all the paperwork you get, you also get a calguns card.

                          It's an idea worth considering.

++1 This would make fellow gun owners aware of calguns, and possible new comers to the hobby and sport.
