    I have flown out of state before just to hunt dogs. I love it so much I have almost given up deer hunting (If they didnt taste so good I would have).

      If you are shooting on BLM land be careful no one ambles or drives into your line of fire. 1,000 yds is a long way and it would be very easy for someone to get tangled up with your rounds and not even know you are shooting until it is too late. Formal 1,000 yd ranges have controlled access. Be very, very careful.
