you're welcome.....to brd!
Seriously though, thanks everyone! We are so appreciative of you, our friends. What made this a freakin awesome event was the community.
It was Calguns making a splash talking to folks, getting them excited.
It was the top notch, "high speed, low drag" guys from Falcon Security (I cant wait to take their course in a few weeks).
It was all of our Reps from;
Springfield,
Smith and Wesson,
Taurus and
Leupold
that came in to tell us..well...everything you ever wondered about their products.
It was the 'rolling showroom' that was parked out front...my favorite was the video goggles.
All we did, friends, was provide the place. It was YOU that made it great.
Thank you.
Sincerely,

Just wanna say, "Great work guys!" the event was fantastic!
Your new place is "huge" congrats Dustin!
I've always been a firm believer of supporting our local gun stores, without you guys we couldn't play. I came out with a great deal on ammo, free shirt & free lunch thanks! It was also nice seeing LE's come over between calls for the food too.
Stopped by the Calguns booth paid my respects and said "hi", it's great to see how big/professional this forum has gotten.
I've been going to AB for years, referred many friends to your shop even stopped during work in my Snap-On truck to feed my fetish.
Happy to see you guys doing well during these tough economic times, keep up the good work!
So, when are you guys announcing/posting the winners of the raffle?Comment

Sorry. I guess I missed this thread last night when I posted our winner.
ARMYGUNSMITH won a Springfield XD40 subcompact. He and I spoke on the phone Saturday evening. He is coming in to begin DROS tomorrow.
Thanks to all who made this event GREAT. It wont be our last. It was too much fun.

was there 2 separate raffles...one in the store, and the one outside at the CalGuns booth?
let me know....I'm still holding onto my raffle ticket stubs!!
BTW I picked up an RIA mid-size .45acp last Saturday. I just came back from a 1911 Armorer's course at Front Sight yesterday. I was sitting next to a guy that had a SA-GI model, and when we compared parts to parts, there didn't seem to be much difference between the two, I know that my RIA showed some tooling marks, but not in any places that would affect function. At least I know how to completely strip down the gun and put it back together again (with no extra parts leftover).
This will be a project gun for me....now I'm looking for a new high-ride grip safety for it and new hammer/sear/disconnector.
Also...good to meet mr.lonewolf, and geeknow that day.
Thanks AmmoBros for the great customer service and a good price for the RIA !!NRA Life Member

Yeah, I went to that sale....4 sales guys behind the counter for guns/ammo and 50 people on the other side of the counter. Maybe they shoulda moved the guys making burgers behind the counter. I left empty handed after standing around for 30 minutes.Bob

Danggit! I missed this sale, but was pleased that I was able to finally pick up 500 rounds of .45acp reloads recently! Pretty stocked for 9mm, but will probably get another can or five in anticipation of 2011.

The sale was OK.
Their reloads are about the same price as new WWB or UMC @ Walmart. Their prices are high on a lot of things, but they're the only gunshop in Cerritos and they don't act like anti-social weirdos, so that's worth the extra coin I guess.
Good deal on the Caldwell electronic hearing protection for 24.99, but I also picked up Blazer .357mags. 158gr jhp for 29.99, which was 9 dollars more expensive than it should have been, so it all evened out in the end I guess.FUS RO DAH! ==== ┻━┻Comment
