    What to get next?!?!?

So say you have $1500-$2000+ to spend on whatever firearm you want. What would you get and why?

I already have quite a few different types of firearms, this would be a “just because” weapon.

Or would you replace your crappy upper on your AR (it is one of those 11.5” uppers with the long azz flash suppressor welded on. Don’t laugh it was free to me) and get another weapon with the rest of the money. At first I was thinking of getting an AR-10 or an AUG, but now I am not so sure.

You can get a semi-custom 1911 for that if you don't already own one. Get a used one and you get a higher one yet. I just bought a used SA Professional because I wanted a high end 1911 to go with my SA Milspec.

Or you can do that AR10 thing you mentioned.

If it were me and this is just me, I'd get a Remmy 700 and a good optic. Just because that's what I'm getting next.

I've already got pretty much everything on my "want list", aside from collecting more and more vintage S&W revolvers (which is an untreatable disease).

The only thing outstanding for me is a good .22 semi-auto pistol for plinking and keeping basic marksmanship skills fresh. After that..... ammo.
