Gun cleaning clinic?

From time to time, I see build parties, but have never seen a gun cleaning party. They don't offer anything like this at my local gun shops. Many of us have weapons we are reluctant to tear down completely for fear of not getting it back together in one piece. A group of people getting together, helping each other out would be great.
With more new gun owners than ever, starting folks off right would be a plus.

I'm willing to host one and will even provide all the guns and cleaners for up to 50 people at a time. So, who wants to clean my Nylon 66s? Ruger MkIIs? AR50? The muzzle brake could use some extra scrubbing. Hell, I'm sure I've got some other PITA to clean guns laying around.

Well don't be afraid to ask for help, I mean we are help to help one another out right? I know what you mean though, better to have someone around that knows how to tear it down and put it back together, but sometimes you just have to read your manual and attempt to do it on your own

So, where are you located? I have zero problem teaching you how to clean your guns. Again, you're more than welcome to practise on mine first. If you're free tomorrow, PM me and I'll tell you how to get here. I am serious.

Last week I was RSO at my club. 2 guys shooting their Gcocks kept jamming. They said they'd shot a few thousand rounds through their guns without having cleaned them...

...Because they did not know how to take them down.

It's unbelievable to me how someone can own a gun and not know how to operate it. I guess those 2 guys are not alone.

I can take mine down and I clean it after every trip. I just wonder what I have to do to get a patch to come out of the barrel as white as it goes in, etc.

Are those still law-enforcement only? When I was last looking at them, they were restricted.
