    I know..

At first when he said HK45 I thought he just meant an H&K in .45 caliper.. not the actual model.

Love how mine shoots.. no problem (knock on wood) with their CS.

      Sorry but I can't.

I've owned a USP45 fullsized for 14 years. In that time, I've put something close to 100,000 rounds thru it. In that whole time, I've never needed any service or repair work on it. It still fires just as reliably and accurately as it first did. The main recoil spring has goten weaker and could might need to be replaced one day but otherwise it is a rock.

It is so nice that I bought a second one along with a compact a few years ago.

I've shot the HK45. If I were you I woud try a M&P 45. The ergos are fantastic if not better than the HK45. It is the reason I don't have a HK45.

That being said, my FN FNP-45 is my favorite handgun.

I sent my HK45 in for LEM upgrade, I called HK cutomer service on Monday morning, sent it via Fedex overnight Monday afternoon. They called me on Wed, and told me it is ready...WOW~~~ I got my baby back to Thursday!

I sent my Kimber 1911 for slide repair ONE month ago, nothing yet
I sent my Benelli M4 for recoil spring tube repair THREE weeks ago, nothing yet

Yep - LOVE ALL my HK's including my HK45. I have never had the need for service or parts with my HK's (any of them) I guess that's the point. They go bang every GD-Time.

BTW - try throwing a few empty cases into the mag of your favorite Glock and see if it will feed them? My HK45 feeds everything reliably including empty cartridges.

Just goes bagk every time - can't ask for more.

If HK revises the HK45c so that the rail isn't weaksauce and will accept a standard light then I will happily get one.

Ive put many a round downrange with HK offerings. Never had a problem with any of them.

Never called CS so I couldn't tell you if they suck.

I got to fire an HK45 side by side against my onced owned USP45. The HK45 does nothing my USP can't do. Only thing different really b/ them is the grip and front slide serrations and of course, still the hype. I didn't shoot an M&P at that time. But did a few months later. The HK45 only feels a bit better on the grips, but otherwise, it shoots the same and in fact, my USP trigger was crisper and smoother than the HK45, but I'm sure that's due to the fact that my USP45 had 1500 rounds through it while the HK45 we were shooting only had 250 rounds through it. The HK45 is a quality piece but honestly, the M&P45 shoots much better and feels much better atleast in my hands. For the going rate on a CA HK45, you can buy three M&P's. But is it worth what the going price is? No, but if it was CA legal and selling for it's normal rate of $900 I would get one. But since it's not, an M&P is a very very good choice over the HK45. And the USP45 is still the same gun as the HK45 minus cosmetics but even the USP nowadays command a high price.

Sounds like the HK45 is one of the best gun to have.

Wrong? Mind selling me one then?

I saw an HK-45 that sold in SOCAL for $700 LNIB earlier this year. It was all the way in San Diego, I still would've bought it, if only I would of known just a few days earlier.

They're about 900.00 in the free world..as for HK customer service..maybe...but I have had lots & lots of HK pistols with 10,000 + rounds and NEVER had to use or call Hk CS
