    I didn't let it expire? I paid my fees before hand and I have a valid C license still, they just won't send me a new hard copy until I finish the B process because I started it on the same day as I renewed my license.

      Yea, and make sure you actually go to jury duty because they are going to go suspend your driver's licenses if you don't go...

      Ironic that our right to bear arms is contingent upon our privilege to drive (or in the OP's case getting an I.D. card in addition to his license while the DMV sorts their sheite out....)

          I don't have to worry about jury duty for awhile. I fulfilled my obligation last year. Woot! woot!
