You allowed your license to expire.

Especially odd that you need it for your work and you still allowed it to expire.

I didn't let it expire? I paid my fees before hand and I have a valid C license still, they just won't send me a new hard copy until I finish the B process because I started it on the same day as I renewed my license.

This whole thread makes me want to make sure that I get both my car registrations paid and the new reg. tickets back before I buy a new gun lol

Yea, and make sure you actually go to jury duty because they are going to go suspend your driver's licenses if you don't go...

Ironic that our right to bear arms is contingent upon our privilege to drive (or in the OP's case getting an I.D. card in addition to his license while the DMV sorts their sheite out....)

Who get's ID cards aside from those that never had a license, or those that get theirs revoked?

Who cares what anybody thinks? You got a CA ID and it's nobody's business why.
Disabled folks who can't drive get them too, it's no big deal.

I don't have to worry about jury duty for awhile. I fulfilled my obligation last year. Woot! woot!
